What should be Reported to North Yorkshire Police
In an emergency situation, if there is a crime in progress or if there is a threat to life, please dial 999.
For all enquiries, to contact an officer or police station, or to report an incident that does not require immediate attention, please use our non-emergency number, 0845 60 60 24 7.
The following types of incidents should be report to North Yorkshire Police via the switchboard on 0845 60 60 247
- Taking / selling illegal drugs
- Begging
- Drunken / rowdy behaviour
- Fighting and threatening behaviour
- Verbally intimidating behaviour
- Abusive calls
- Joy riding / racing vehicles
- Motorcycles on pavements and public land
- Vandalism / criminal damage
