Environmental Protection Unit

The Environmental Protection Unit (EPU)'s Noise Patrol service operates on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. and can be telephoned on. The Noise Patrol service is only available in York. EPU investigate most types of noise nuisance except noise in the street (a police issue). We also investigate bonfires and other environmental nuisances.

The Environmental Protection Unit are open from Mondays to Fridays, 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be telephoned on:
