Government Office for Yorkshire and The Humber

The Community Safety Directorate of Government Office for Yorkshire and The Humber (GOYH) is committed to helping reduce crime and disorder (including the fear of crime) and to tackling the problems caused by drugs. We support partnerships to incorporate recommendations of the Crime and Disorder Act (1998) and the review as contained in the Police and Justice Bill (2006). We support partnerships in the delivery of key government priorities, including the Drugs Interventions Programme, Prolific and Other Priority Offenders Initiative and the Violent Crime Strategy. We share good practice of community safety within CDRP partner organisations.
